USCGC Gallatin WHEC-721 is a Hamilton Class High Endurance Cutter of the U.S. Coast Guard. She was commissioned on December 20, 1968. Her namesake Albert Gallatin, the fourth and longest serving U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Part of Coast Guard District Seven & Sector Charleston. She performed many missions such as weather station, fisheries enforcement, search and rescue, migrant interdiction, drug interdiction, escort duty in the Mediterranean, Homeland Security patrols, disaster relief, and international training. Her Homeport was Charleston, South Carolina. She was decommissioned on March 31, 2014.
