The 44th Medical Brigade is a Subordinate unit of XVIII Airborne Corps. Its headquarters are at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Its roll is to provide health care and medical services to the Fort Bragg community, and continuing training in its combat support mission. The 44th Medical has been in combat during the Cold War, Vietnam war 1983 Invasion of Grenada, 1989 Invasion of Panama, Persian Gulf War, Afghanistan & Iraq.
