Plant-based candelilla wax and kokum oil (butter) is an excellent substitute for your customers who are allergic to honey or pollen or are in need a gift for vegan relatives & friends. Although this pink label features a lip balm that is scented with prairie rose essential oil, you can edit ingredient list to any scent you’d like as the wax of candelillia (Euphorbia cerifera) and kokum (seeds) are odorless. A century ago the long, upright, wax-covered stalks of the Candelillia (that look a bit like little candles) were burned directly for illumination, so this wax is fantastic for candle-making. If editing this label for beeswax lip balm, simple ingredients might include beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter and a touch of beeswax and honey essential oil.
