The Monkey is the ninth animal in the 12 year cycle of the Chinese "Zodiac." Recent "Years of the Monkey" are: 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016. According to this system, if you were born in these years, your habits, personality and behavior are influenced by those exhibited by or ascribed to the Monkey. Sadly, all 19 species of China's native primates are in danger.
