Reproduction of public domain union poster from Great Depression era. The IWW, called the "Wobblies" by red-baiting corporate bosses, scared the dickens out of Wall Street sharpers. The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW or the Wobblies) is an international union. IWW membership does not require work in a represented workplace, nor exclude membership in another labor union. IWW contends that all workers should be united as a class and that the wage system should be abolished. They are known for the Wobbly Shop model of workplace democracy, in which workers elect recallable delegates, and use grassroots democracy (self-management).
