#3 of 12 Repro 1880s Minton Mocha Birds Series Ceramic Tile
- from our Affiliates
Minton Tile produced several series of similar bird tiles in the late 1870s through the 1880s. This one has a long-legged bird that looks like it might be a stork. Great attention to details in the settings on these tiles - lily pads, grasses, water, plants -- each one is different. Minton tiles were considered among the finest produced in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and are highly collectible.
