This blue and white tile features an overflowing urn of flowers with rather unusual corners. It dates to the mid-1700s. Available in 4.5 and 6 inch tiles as well as other items. Be sure to see our other Delft tiles - they look great when combined as a variety of accent tiles on a wall or backsplash. Delft tiles date back to the 1600s when blue and white Chinese porcelain imports reached the Netherlands. The popularity of these items was a great influence on Dutch tile artisans and Delft became the center of production for these usually (but not always) blue and white tiles.
