Copied from an antique molded majolica tile, this is a striking example of art nouveau design by Henry Richards. Colors were had applied in light lavender, peach, orange, and shades of green set off by an ivory background. Note that, although the original is a relief molded tile, our reproduction is Trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) and is actually flat and smooth. Art nouveau tiles are highly collectible and make great gifts. Or display one as art, use as coasters or, in the optional larger size, as a trivet. Can be used for craft projects or, more traditionally, as wall or backsplash tiles in kitchen or bathroom, around a fireplace, or to frame mirror. Not for use as a floor tile or outdoors.
