Phantom Triangles Optical Illusion T-Shirt
There's less to this design than you see. The illusion of colored triangles you see here are called transparent overlays by neuroscience types. They are phantom shapes produced by your personal visual processing system when a shape is "implied" in a particular way. This is happening all the time (assuming your eyes are open) and usually you don't notice because we think we see what's "truly" out there, but we don't. We just couldn't resist doing a design that highlights this odd effect. Some people see these best on a white background, while others see them even on a dark background, so we offer both versions. Every brain is different. Suggested reading: Visual Intelligence by Donald Hoffman. C'mon, you like homework, right?
