This poster consists of the combined images of ten c. 1900 hand-tinted real photo postcards of the renowned and scandalous Sarah Bernhardt. Each individual card depicts Bernhardt in one of her iconic roles - both male and female. Originally produced in France and acquire on an installment basis, the complete set could be combined to create a larger image. Complete sets are very difficult to find today.
