11 SRI YANTRA FLAME POSTER
There is a profound order that pervades the universe. This order stands independent of chaos, space, time and even creation itself. Yet it is mathematically verifiable... as it exists in the form of harmonious number relationships and can be expressed through geometric shapes, patterns and forms. The shapes and patterns of the “Sacred Geometry Mandala Designs by Jonathan Quintin†capture these numerically harmonious principles and provide a tangible way to consciously engage with this transcendental order. “Mandala†is a term used to describe circular designs that portray states of universal order. “Sacred geometry†is a term used to distinguish it from “regular geometryâ€. Regular geometry addresses quantity; while sacred geometry includes the qualities of the harmonic shapes, patterns and forms. Pythagoras described geometry as visual music and observed that the mathematical laws governing musical harmony correlated with the laws governing physical reality. In music, number relationships are measured in time; in geometry they are measured in space. Continuing with the musical analogy, the geometric mandalas may be contemplated as visual symphonies, where the shapes are the instruments and the colours the musical notes. Each symphonic mandala has been given a title, plus a few words that correspond to the essence of its nature. The words can be built upon and expanded according to the viewer's personal journey. The Sri Yantra is an ancient Hindu mandala that symbolizes the process of creation. Further information and to see videos of mandalas in motion visit: www.sacredgeometry.com.au
