The cover page of an Aeroflot airline passenger ticket from 1974. The aircraft depicted is a Tupolev TU-104, given the code name CAMEL by NATO. It was developed from the TU-16 strategic bomber. Introduced in 1956, the Camel was the world's first successful jet-powered airliner. Until 1958 it was the only operational jetliner. Aeroflot, the Soviet Union's iconic air carrier, still operates today in Russia.
