This Postcard features the stunning colors and architectural details of the Bronze Peacock Fountain and Rose Garden in Central Park in historic Winter Park, Florida. The fountain is a beautiful tribute to Elizabeth Buckley, a 13-year-old who died of an inoperable brain tumor on New Year's Eve in 2012. The Peacock Project was conceived by John Michael Thomas, a 15-year-old Eagle Scout and Elizabeth's friend. Elizabeth loved peacocks and the downtown rose garden, and now her spirit lives on through this amazing display. Photography by Glenda Motsavage, a Florida-based travel writer and author.
