Sweet Tablet is one of the most interesting Scottish foods, often confused with English fudge but it is more crumbly and even sweeter. Everyone in Scotland has likely had a bar of tablet or chunks in a bag from the corner store, but it is virtually unknown south of the border. It combines butter, condensed (Swiss) milk and sugar. International equivalents include borstplaat and tableta de leche.
