This beautiful design features the fabled snow lion, the celestial animal emblem of Tibet, and which appears on the Tibetan flag. The symbol of fearlessness and happiness, it is white with a flowing green mane. I've aded a white shadow to the lion's mane, stippled towards the edges, to represent snow. The original image is based on a painting of the lion at the Samye Ling Tibetan Monastery in the Scottish Borders.
