Blessed Titus Brandsma Carmelite Saint Priest Bl. Titus Brandsma (1881-1942): Born in The Netherlands. As a Carmelite priest he taught philosophy and was a professional journalist. In the 1930’s he fought for the freedom of Catholic education and the Catholic press. For this he was arrested and was killed at Dachau in 1942.
