St Peter the Apostle PM 07 4x6 Post_it Notes Affiliate icon

St. Peter the Apostle (1st century) hardly requires an introduction. First in honor among the twelve apostles, he was the rock upon which Christ Jesus Himself established His nascent church. Martyred at Rome c. 64, St. Peter was crucified upside down so as not to emulate too closely Christ's death on the cross. + St. Peter is patron of the universal Church. + Image Credit (PM 07): Antique image of St. Peter the Apostle from a late 19th century chromoxylographic devotional print probably by Heinrich Knoefler (1824-1886) published by Friedrich Pustet, Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany, in the designer’s private collection of religious ephemera. + Feast: June 29 + If you add text, the hex code for the recommended shade of brown is #564209.
