Yellow is the traditional color of the Glorious Mysteries. + Image Credit (Traditional Glorious Rosary Beads): Our yellow rosary beads derive from a loose bookplate in the designer's private collection entitled “Gems and Precious Stones†featuring the Tiffany Yellow Diamond (No. 31). The bookplate was prepared under the direction of George F. Kunz (1856-1932), the renowned American mineralogist and gem expert with Messrs. Tiffany and Company. It was chromolithographed by L. Prang & Co., Boston, Massachusetts, c.. 1890.
