According to tradition, St. Thomas was stabbed to death with a spear c.72 while praying on a hill in Mylapur, India. He was buried nearby. + Image Credit (JMAS 12): Antique image of St. Thomas the Apostle from a late 19th century devotional print in chromolithography with gilt accents originally published by Josef Müller, Art Publisher, Munich, Germany, from the designer's private collection of religious ephemera.
