Outside of Kingman, Arizona, along the Oatman Highway in the Black Mountains live wild burros. Here you will find Jacks, Jennies, and foals living in herds or bands in the harsh desert environment of the southwest. These animals are meant to be protected under the Free Roaming Wild Horse & Burro Act of 1971.
