Mucha Vintage Elegant Blonde Brunette Art Nouveau Coaster Set

The beautiful elegant ladies on this coasters form two pairs - each with one brunette and one blonde, looking at each other from profile, richly adorned with jewels in their hair. The ones in the first pair are known as "The Primrose" (she smells a primrose) and "The Feather" (although the feather isn't visible on the coaster), the other pair as the Byzantine heads. Both are by the Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939), one of the greatest masters of Art Nouveau, and are in the public domain in the United States, the European Union and all countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years or less.
