Inside the globe there are two different details from the painting "The Numbering at Bethlehem" (1607) by Flemish Renaissance artist Pieter Bruegel the Younger (1564-1636), with an old Flemish village under snow. On the front side, there is an old church and a few houses covered by snow and, in the foreground, birds on a tree branch. On the back side, there are children playing in the snow, fighting with snowballs or sliding on the ice.
