Vintage Union Jack Hong Kong Tourist Guide Novelty Matchboxes
This vintage advertisement is an antique tourist guide to Hong Kong from the late 1880s when it was still a British colony, hence the iconic union jack flag in red white and blue. There is also a landmark building on the front that I do not recognize but the travelers of the day surely knew it was in Hong Kong and it may still be, I added a fun pretend love note to the front in a handwritten font that says: Darling, miss you so much, wish you were here! Always yours, me, to make it look more like a postcard from the past. This text is a template that you can keep, customize or delete to fit your taste. I found this cool old nostalgic image in the British Library public domain collections and did some restoration and enhancement to it so that I could put this historic lost piece of cover art back into circulation.
