The eroded land shows how surprisingly thin the top soil is, so once the natural vegetation is cleared for palm oil plantations, it does not take long to be left with barren sand fields. The artist donates her profits on this item to rescue and rehabilitation of orangutan orphans in Borneo and Sumatra.
