H.E.R.D.S. is the acronym for "Helping Equines Receive Distress Support". The group raises funding for Horse and Burro rescues, Horse sanctuaries and Wild Mustangs etc. The funding provides hay for the hungry, shelter for those out in the open, Vet care for those who need it and other things that Horses (and Burros) at risk stand in need of. Only reputable organizations are assisted. The group is best described as an Equine Community Care Program for every district where it is set up.
