American Indian Painted Pony Horse-lover Print
A beautiful descendant of the first American Indian Painted Ponies features in this eye-catching photo print with warm leather background, by Skye Ryan-Evans © We discovered this gentle creature in Williams Lake, British Columbia on a First Nations ranch and just had to share him with you. This stallion is a descendant of the first Spanish Mustang War-Horses that arrived in North America via the Spanish explorer Cortes, in 1519. One of the famous 16 war-horses in that party was a highly coloured paint with a spotted belly. It was bred with Native American Mustangs to create the Paint Horse bloodline. A beautiful breed of highly-contrasted colours and markings much favoured by the talented Commanche plains horsemen. This version of the Paint Horse is offered as the perfect gift for any horse-lover. Also available in other sizes upon request.
