The cover of this notebook depicts the four worlds, or four aspects of reality as envisioned by Medieval Jewish Mystics. The upper world of the spirit, beyond our knowing, or Atzilut. The pink world of Briyah, or Creation/thought. The rose colored world of Yetzirah, or formation, or emotions, and the red world of Asiyah, or doing or being. The colors are the colors of the wine we drink at the annual TuBishvat seder in the early spring. The border depicts God's Shefa, constantly flowing beneficence. When we do acts of generosity, consideration, kindness in this world of Asiyah, we promote the continuance of the flow from the world of Atzilut. Image by Rabbi Me'irah Iliinsky
