Dollar Cove or as it should be called Jangye Ryn is a small, mainly rocky cove near the Lizard peninsula and next to Gunwalloe Church Cove in west Cornwall. It gained the name Dollar Cove when in the late 18th century there was a shipwreck and legend has it that silver dollars were washed up on the beach. This cove is being extensively used for the filming of the new series of Poldark and many of the images of the star Aidan Turner as Captain Ross Poldark that have appeared have been photographed in Dollar Cove.
