This design features a painting by Rosa Bonheur (1822–1899), who was a French artist best known as a painter of animals. It shows a tiger prowling aggressively along the sandy plains of Asia. The tiger's mouth is open and it is baring its sharp teeth to show its ferocity. The tiger has typical markings that include a vibrant orange or reddish coat with dark vertical stripes that help camouflage them in their natural habitats; its belly, face and tail are white. The tiger appears to be hungry for prey.
