This design features a painting by the German artist Andreas Achenbach (1815–1910), who was associated with the Romantic movement and the Düsseldorf School of art. It depicts Roland’s Arch, a famous archway constructed out of stone and bricks. It is located on a hill high above the Rhine Valley in Germany. The arch is known as "Rolandsbogen" in the German language. A traveller can be seen here standing in front of the arch and admiring the majestic view of the Rhine River that can be seen through it. There is a beautiful red sunset in the sky. The original artwork was painted in 1834.
