This design features a painting by the British symbolist artist George Frederick Watts (1817–1904). It depicts a lone blindfolded female figure sitting on a globe, playing a lyre that has only a single string remaining. The woman is wearing a dark green dress and her feet are bare. The background is an abstract blue sky with only a single star shining. The meaning of the painting is intentionally ambiguous; its symbolism may not immediately evoke a sense of hope in the viewer. The original artwork was painted by G.F. Watts in 1886.
