This design features a painting by the American artist Theodore Robinson (1852–1896), who trained in France, where he became friends with Claude Monet, and later worked mainly in New England. It depicts two young boys playing together on a wooden boat. They are leaning over on the deck of the boat as they read pieces of paper. There are other rowing boats in the background, and the boys' boat is not far from the shore. It is scene of two boys enjoying a simple happiness in childhood. The original artwork was painted by Theodore Robinson in 1891.
