This design features a painting of the American Old West by Frederic Remington (1861–1909). A member of the second generation of Hudson River School artists, Remington's works are known for depicting the Western United States in the last quarter of the 19th-century, featuring such images as cowboys, Native Americans and the United States Cavalry. It shows two horse traders standing beside a brown pony in a desert landscape: the men are showing the animal to a gentleman who is considering buying it as a polo pony. The original art was painted in 1905.
