This design features a painting by the Canadian artist Paul Peel (1860–1892). It depicts a young girl lying on a sandy hill as she holds some plants and flowers in her hand. She is wearing a white dress with pink stripes, and she has a straw hat on her head. She is paying so much attention to the flowers in her hand that she may have aspirations of becoming a botanist when she grows up. There is a beach behind her and the blue sea can be seen. The weather is sunny and bright. There are some more plants and flowers growing beside the girl. She also has a book, which she might have used for taking notes about the surrounding flora. The original artwork was painted by Paul peel in 1888.
