- from our Affiliates
This design features a painting by the German artist Karl Friedrich Lessing (1808–1880). It shows a magnificent oak tree in an old German forest. The tree is a thousand years old. A man and a woman are kneeling in front of the tree in reverence. The couple have left their horses drinking from a small river beside the tree, which is growing from a rocky hillside. The tree's leaves are green with foliage. The original artwork was painted in 1837.
