This design features a painting by Edward Robert Hughes (1851–1914). It shows a woman wearing a blue cape and a golden crown; she has wings and is flying the air carrying a baby in her arms. She is an embodiment of the Angel of Death. She is followed by a long line of flying cherubs. Poppy flowers are falling from her hands, symbolizing sleep and death. There are also birds flying in the sky. The original artwork was painted in 1912.
