The Nativity at Night (Birth of Jesus, Christmas) Jigsaw Puzzle

This design features an Early Netherlandish painting by Geertgen tot Sint Jans (1465–1495). It shows shows the Nativity of Jesus, attended by angels. The Annunciation to the shepherds can be distantly seen on the hillside through the window in the centre of the painting. In the darkness of night, the baby Jesus is bathed in light, which is the main source of illumination for the scene inside the stable. The original artwork was painted in 1490, and it is now housed in the National Gallery, London.
