The Wisconsin Motor Manufacturing Company Milwaukee Wisconsin and West Allis Wisconsin traces it's roots to shortly after the turn of the last century. They were producing four and six cylinder gas combustible engines used primarily in large construction equipment for companies such as the Marion Shovel Company, Bucyrus Erie, and Northwest Engineering Company. Many of these early engines were seen on equipment used in the building of the Panama canal. Later they manufactured many sizes of automobile engines as the automobile industry exploded in the United States and manufacturers were desperate for combustible engines. This engine is the Wisconsin Model K-5 4 Cylinder with a 6" Bore x 7" Stroke 66 B.H.P. @ 825 R.P.M. It was used on Northwest Model 105.
