An exceedingly rare image of women engaged in the sport of Tug of War or Tug-O-War circa 1890’s. These Edwardian woman were enjoying a day on the banks of the beautiful Fox River near Elgin Illinois over one hundred and twenty five years ago. This image is a scan of an original glass negative in my collection. The image is in somewhat soft focus. I have tinted it a blue for a different look and will be adding more colors in the future. This item would be a perfect gift for the Tugger in your life.
