Vintage painting Father Christmas with Gift Bag Coffee Mug
Modern media presents Santa in one basic style we all are familiar will. Here I paint Father Christmas a little differently making him slender, but still older as shown by his full white beard. His coat is the traditional red with white trim on the edges, held closed with a gold colored rope tie from which hangs a blue painted figure. Santa, or Father Christmas, walks with a cane, a further clue to his age. But he is strong, carrying a sack full of toys as big as he is while walking thru the snow without the aid of a sleigh.
