Jamie's Castle was named Lallybroch in Outlander but is Midhope Castle in real life. Lallybroch could potentially be considered the heart of Outlander, with many fans flocking to Scotland simply to experience it for themselves. Some tragic and happy memories occurred for us Outlander fans here. We learnt of Jamie's guilt feeling as though he couldn't protect Jenny, and in his hope of doing so we witnessed his flogging by Black Jack Randall. When Claire finally told Jamie the truth of how she entered their lives, he gave her a choice. To go back to America through the stones, or to stay Claire of course to decided to make it her home.
