The Lost Sheep is Found. Inspired by various scriptures, this diptych I painted represents us in our lives, when we are lost, far from God, troubled and under attack... however, God can rescue us from all our troubles when we call to him. Like a shepherd rescuing a lost sheep, Jesus rescues us, because he loves us; “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?” Jesus Christ (Luke 15:4)
