Wild Bill Hickok was the nickname of James Butler Hickok. Was an American Old West folk hero known for being a notoriety gunfighter a Lawmen as a sheriff and marshal. He was also a drover, wagon master, soldier, spy, scout, gambler, showman, and actor. He was murdered in Deadwood on August 2, 1876 while playing poker. His poker hand was Ace, Ace, 8, 8, known as the Dead Man's Hand. This applies to U.S. works where the copyright has expired, often because its first publication occurred prior to January 1, 1927.
