Great Lakes freighter George H. Russel Coffee Mug

George H. Russel was built in 1905 for Cleveland's Gilchrist Transportation and sailed for Interlake and Nicholson as Canopus. For Nicholson, the former bulk freighter carried new cars from Detroit to ports around the Great Lakes. A wheelhouse added on later in life was salvaged and has been part of a private home, part of a museum and will now be part of a factory.
