Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) is a robotic space probe mission to Mars launched by NASA on November 26, 2011, which successfully landed Curiosity, a Mars rover, in Gale Crater on August 6, 2012. The overall objectives include investigating Mars' habitability, studying its climate and geology, and collecting data for a manned mission to Mars. The rover carries a variety of scientific instruments designed by an international team. Curiosity rover has a mass of 899 kg (1,980 lb), can travel up to 90 m (300 ft) per hour on its six-wheeled rocker-bogie system, is powered by a radioisotope thermoelectric generator (RTG), and communicates in both X band and UHF bands. We have separate sections for the MSL Mission Patch, Launch Team Patch, and Curiosity Landing on Mars team patch. We actually have two Curiosity patches, because some in the world saw the landing the NEXT day and wanted a patch to match when THEY viewed the event! As you can tell from the above, we do special orders and customization and its always free. Whether its the NASA, ESA or ESO logo on the back, we add these at no additional cost.
