Seashell animals elegant poem beige keepsake gift box
This keepsake gift box features the "Still" visual poem written by me which was originally published in 2020 in the "Diamond Dust (Poems From the Black Sea)" photo book series of marine Ikebana poetry. It is a relaxing, visual poem written in free verse about the different states through which water goes and how water that may be present as frozen snowflakes at your window may have inhabited a totally different environment just months ago. The visual poem rests on a tonna seashell painted in a complementary chocolate brown and cappuccino beige shade palette. The same chocolate seashell is revealed as a small, hanging fruit from the end of the right branch. The painted blue leaves on the left side are micro universes on their own. The brown mussel is collected from the shores of the Black Sea. The beige starfish with its five tips is a counterpoint to the smooth curves of the tun seashell. Two cut whorls lie in the background as white leaves and another white cut spiral plays the role of a white leaf, dwelling under the starfish. A cut seashell with several natural shades of earth brown and beige closes the composition.
