Teslas Egg At the Columbia Exposition Postcard Affiliate icon

On May1 1893 President Grover Celveland threw a switch that lit up 100,000 light bulbs to kick off the 1893 Columian. Exposition. It marked the triumph of the Tesla invented AC power over Edison's DC. Which is why this World's Fair was known as the White City. Tesla was invited by Western Electric to install some of his devices in there exhibition. One of them was this one here The Egg Of Columbus where an egg was made to stand on it's end by using magnetic fields.
