The corner of Pulaski and Archer on Chicago's southwest side was a happening spot. There was the Miami Bowl with 80 lanes and it was open 24 hours because this was an industrial stronghold that operated around the clock. There was also a number of motels and the Tangiers was one of them. I'm kind of a “nut” for neon signs and think they are one of mnas most beautiful creations. They are also a vanishing form of signage that will probably soon be extinct. I have been photographing them in and around the Chicago area off and on for almost thirty years. If you also share a passion for these colored lights in the night check out my galleries on our web site. http://www.mindsimedia.info/Neon/index.htm
