Auguste Brindeau ~Obstetrics/Gynecology~H.Frantz~1900 Auguste Brindeau (1867-1955) (Obstetrics/Gynecology) Intern at Nantes Hospitals from 1888 to 1890 and the Paris Hospitals from 1892 to 1896. He became MD in 1896 with a thesis entitled "The average Detroit." He will become an Obstetrician in Hospitals of Paris in 1899 and a Fellow in 1904. He is professor of obstetric clinic 1920 first at the School of Midwifery and Tarnier Mercy clinic where he remained until his retirement. * * * He is a member of the Academy of Medicine, which he chaired in 1949. He received distinctions Commander of the Legion of Honour and Officer of the Order of Leopold. He is a member of the Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians French language. He will be Treasurer and Secretary General until 1953. He was one of the founding members, "Obstetrics and Gynecology" in 1919. * * * Artist: Henri Frantz (H.
