2/22nd Infantry Cambodian Incursion Shirt

The 2/22nd "Triple Deuces", participated in Operation Rockcrusher, the Incursion (invasion) of Cambodia in May and June, 1970. After two months of heavy combat, the only recognition the troops ever received for the hard-fought, very successful campaign in Cambodia was a small bronze star for the Vietnam Service Medal. The "Sanctuary Counteroffensive, 1970" cost 284 American soldiers KIA, 2,339 WIA, and 13 MIA.
